the choice now, is to go to sydney or see if local instituitions can work out smth for the students. hmm... come to think of it, it may be to the advantage of those who couldnt get into local uni or unsw, and thus applied for unswasia. (they may NOW be offered places in schools they previously couldnt get into, or even get a chance to study overseas at subsidized rates!)
my heart goes out to the school more than the students actually. so poor thing-invested in spore, loss A LOT, and now kenna hit by all of us cos of their decision to close down.
Singapore's not gonna be able to make deals with any of the more credible overseas universities to set up its bases here any time soon either. bye bye to economic boom!

kenny said the drawings on my new 'skin' arnt nice enough to be put on my blog :( but these are my most recent sketches... so its kind of all i have with me right now. wahhaa. and i had so much time to draw them.... at work.
anyways, was made to call 50 plus law firms at wrk yest/today. Walao. they are so UNcooperative can! i just needed the NAMES and the DESIGNATIONS of the big-shots, and quite a few firms refused to give it. BIG SHOTS LEH. shldnt they have proudly announced it to me? why keep it like some deep dark secret?! my colleague said when u call the firms, must act as if you urself are some bigshot, or else they will feel superior to you. but c'mon... some of them didnt even know what "designation" meant. they were like, 'huh? you mean our company's address??" WELL, its DESIGNATION, not DESTINATION!

my first "job" as a designer. :D supposed to draw smth for the company my sis is wrking for. and it might be brought to print!
my second "job" as a designer. :D like honestly. this is exciting! im gonna design a wedding coffee table book for newly wedS! ME? capturing one of the most important moments of their lives! can you believe it? i cant! ahhha. oh well. details have not been discussed but apparently there are 6 CDs of pictures! :S the couple is sooo blessed. *a looonnggg louuddd sighhhhh* will i burst into tears when im working on the project? perhaps. will i be working through the next few nights? probably. will this give me satisfaction? definitely.
marriage - its quite scary, to think of it. enthrusting your heart and soul and LIFE into your partner's hands. that said, is it worth it to fight for smth you have lost, and risk having to lose it all again at the end of the day? i mean, just as a lepoard cannot change his spots, a person who has no determination will always remain as such? (ok. u peeps reading this must be quite blur now. have to find the missing link)
ahh! ok. gg off to help teach pple how to bead and then off to watch spiderman with my babeee. :D:D
